Write IT down! It is very important

The importance of writing has been drastically increased in the last 15 years or so, all because of the technological and digital advancements. It has become a daily activity to communicate. Be it texts, email, blog or drafting a business document; writing has its part.

Writing, rather say documenting, is the most overrated and underrated process of all the time. Writing is an art. It is not everybody's cup of tea to communicate well to the audience contextually. Context is important when one wants to convey a message.

People may read things and yet didn't get the context. Writing has its own ways of expression be it expository, persuasive, narrative, or descriptive. Writing forms the basis of an idea, plan, process, and evolution. Let's get to the root to understand things better.

IMPORTANCE

Without writing, the plans are always half-cooked. Writing ensures that you don't miss anything that can be of importance and needs to be integrated with your model. It plays a major role in strategy formation of any project. The core idea firstly has to be brought on paper and then subsequently worked on.

Writing requires you to research deep into the topic, collect all the rich content and express it in a way that even a naive person can understand it well. Content is of no use if it cannot speak for itself when the audience reads it.

Even today, when everything is so digital, writing has its place. Digital is good, even better but cannot replace the essence of writing. It can bring the best improvement that one can get. More importantly, it acts as a medium to see things clearly and optimize them accordingly.

ADDING VALUES

Good content always creates value whether it may be a text, an image, a podcast, a video; or a combination of all. Curating such content requires oneself to sit tight and spill words out of the mind simultaneously ensuring that the content is adding values. Writing comes handy with a lot of procrastination as it can become difficult to express the essence of the content.

One can always start adding values easily by writing content for oneself as well as others. It can be a small paragraph to a blog to a research paper to a full-fleshed book. Writing has its charms of attraction.

HOW I RELATE TO WRITING?

Writing in my life played an important part and always helped me in pushing my limits. I was not able to realize its revolutionary potential until I see through my own eyes. I was highly inspired by the works of Kahlil Gibran, Rumi, Lao Tzu, Acharya Prashant, Kabir, and many others. Their writing offered something that one always craves for.

Soon I developed a habit of reading texts. I started experimenting on reading various kinds of texts ranging from the words of mystics to suspense and thrillers, romance, eroticism, and fiction.

read

To be a good writer, one should be a good reader.

I even started following topics that were of interest to me and subscribed to the blogs of popular authors and speakers to inquire more about creating quality content. One can always refer to the works of Gary Vaynerchuck, Neil Patel, Mel Robbins, Acharya Prashant to know about the art of creating exclusive and unlimited content out of their daily life.

THE KEY ELEMENT

Write. Modify. Repeat.

This cycle is the key to any plan. Always carry a compact notebook with you and reflect your day upon it whenever you get time. It will give you the best insights out of your own life that no one else can ever make you aware. Work on that and that's everything need.

DO. DO. DO.

The most essential element of all. Every idea is next to abstract unless its on papers or trying to create its own place. The essence of content is getting it out. It is of no use if it is just inside your head. Plan, Write, Publish.

ANALYZE AND RECREATE

Last, but not the least, analyze your writing, get feedback, improve it and if required, recreate the new version to have a wider view of the complete picture. Analyzing content has its own perks, no doubts the data science market has suddenly come to rise and is keen on working on past data to drive future results.

Not only you'll update the content but you'll get awareness in context to your thoughts and you'll be working on yourself. Write for the good, write for improving yourself, write to see the wider picture, write to get the best version out of yourself!
